Up on your toes
Last night, while I was working on an admission, an old attending Dr. B passed by. He said, " Hi, Winnie, I haven't seen you for a few months." I spotted him in his new glasses and replied, " Oh Dr. B, you got new glasses? They look nice !" He said," Good to see you up on your toes!" ( spotted things quickly as supposed to fumbling through work last year) Then I said in a frank and casual tone, " Well, I probably won't be able to pick up any physical findings, but for new bags, new shoes, and new glasses, I can pick'em out anytime!" Dr. B couldn't stop laughing at what I said. Even the nurses sitting around giggle too!

The prayer of Jabez
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request. I Chronicles 4:10

Freedom in Love
Human love is but imperfect.
Sometimes, it takes too much effort; and in the process, it becomes demanding, controlling, and even possessive. I guess love can be simple and relaxing, which allows freedom and comfort.
I am not expert of love, and I am in no place to judge.
But thank God that His love is graceful, accepting and unconditional.
